Weight Loss Pep Talk
Follow the steps below for just 1 minute every day and you will not fall your regime ever again.
1. Acknowledge the fact that you are one leg in your own grave
If not even death can do you apart from your flabby waist, nothing could. The only reason why people don’t take health statistics seriously is because they think they wouldn’t be the one getting it.
You are so wrong. You ARE the next statistic IF you don’t do something about it NOW.
2. Admit that it’s not the genes, it’s you.
Alot of people think their weight got something to do with their genes. Get over it. You are at fault. When people told me I had a double chin after 8 mths of stagnant lifestyle, I tell myself,” Ok I am wrong, Now what should I do”
3. Practice telling mental cues to yourself.
The reason why alot of us went into eating autopilot is because 1. sugar turns you on 2. you are not guiding your subconscious.
People in the food industry knows how to turn your subconscious eating behaviour on by adding all sorts of flavour enhancer that tickles your taste bud and tickles your brain at the same time.
For the star, have a friend whom knows you are having a weight loss regime. Ask him/her to shout you a word like, “Don’t!” or “No!‘ or “Bad!” everything time you wanted to put a doughnut or ice-cream in your mouth. Make sure you use only one word throughout your regime.
After you have practiced this for a while, try shouting this word mentally to yourself everything you wanted to eat the forbidden stuffs. This will be your mental cue word
If it fails, go back to ask your friend for help again.
4. Stick a goal sentence on your bathroom mirror
Any sentence will do, but it must be achieveable.
By writing down your goal physically, you already already triggered both your articulative and reasoning sides of your brain to make meaning of your goal.
Goal sentences you can use can be as candid as,”Be a man! Do the Right Thing!” or as focused as,”More veggies, less beer”
Now you have 4 easy to follow pep talk that you can use every day throughout your regime. At anything if you feel that it doesn’t work for you, remember,
Anything can work for you, unless you spend all your time comtemplating on it’s usefulness.
All the Best!
